e find it interesting that many of you are expressing a desire to find your soulmate at this time. It is a word that has only entered your consciousness recently and with very little understanding of what it really means. It is almost a "cliche" to say that you have finally found the answer to all your relationship challenges because you believe you have found one who could be your soulmate. Before you read further, take a moment and ask yourself what your definition of this word really is. How is it different from other relationships that don't fit into this category.

Not all who are seeking relationships at this time on the planet are ready for the spiritual commitment of bonding with a soulmate. This path is only for those people who have evolved to a certain level of male/female balance within themselves. If prior to seeking your soulmate you are on a committed, dedicated spiritual path and you also have more than a dawning comprehension of your current purpose/mission for incarnating here at this time, then perhaps it is time for you to ask your guidance to activate the process to attract this person into your life. If you are not ready for this type of relationship, don't feel as though you are spiritually inferior, you can still attract a very deep level intimate relationship with another being that will fulfill your current desires, an earthmate. Soulmate relationships are not necessary for everyone at this time.

A soulmate can be many things. The main reason that you choose to come together in any specific lifetime is to complete the mission that you both agreed upon prior to your current incarnation. Soulmate agreements are made while in the higher realms, while earthmate agreements are made in previous earth lifetimes. Each of you will have individual paths to walk, as well as a shared purpose, in this uniting of two souls. Several important levels of initiation and insight are to be imprinted into your soul essence as a result of such an encounter, so that you may reach deep levels of commitment, honesty, integrity and impeccability of action. A geometric acceleration of your abilities will occur that will allow you to manifest through the blending of your energies together. The reflection of both your greatest strengths and your most vulnerable weaknesses will become a powerful mirror to move both of you forward in your evolutionary growth. When you commit to the full realization of this type of relationship, everything evolves into one powerful flowing current of energy and possibilities.

If the inner acceptance of certain conditions unfold and a willingness and desire to transcend the density of self-imposed limitations is mutually and sincerely agreed upon, the co-dependent drain of vital lifeforce and mundanity of most "normal" earthbound relationships is eliminated. You will drink from the source of the water of life at the wellspring of this sacred union, and through this blessed sacrament you will be rejuvenated and transformed. There no longer remains the need to pull the other one along or hold back on ones growth because the other is unable to assimilate the new energy. Ideally, the two individuals talents and abilities merge in joyous co-creation, each fulfilling their manifest destiny without their individual hopes and dreams being lost in the equation. For the equation is Love, not a possessive Love of ownership or manipulation but the empathic resonance of a Higher Love and freedom of being. The freedom to truly be accepted for oneself unconditionally.

The energy that will be released through this dynamic synergy thus contributes to the greater process of planetary unfoldment in both direct and perhaps not so obvious ways.

In order to understand this type of relationship from a higher perspective, you need to understand the difference in a soulmate vs. an earthmate relationship. In an earthmate relationship, the individuals are still seeking to attain a level of personal spiritual balance within themselves. Generally speaking, they are not necessarily even on a dedicated spiritual path. They attract a certain type of relationship in order to teach their soul what it is they still seek to learn in terms of achieving this balanced state. In common terms, a co-dependent relationship is manifested. They each seek to balance the male/female energy within themselves by looking to their partner to fill the expressions they still need to fill. At first, a type of magic happens and they are drawn to each other like magnets and they feel a strong sense of wholeness within themselves, so they decide that this must be their soulmate because of these feelings of completion. There is an overwhelming feeling of empowerment that exists from this attraction. There sexual union can be intense as each tries to integrate the energy needed for themselves from one another. The sexual act is their opportunity to literally absorb the others energy. However, because they were not focused on their own spiritual path as their first priority, after they absorb the needed energy from the other person, they begin to realize that they no longer need to receive it from them any longer.

It is at this point, which can take many years, separation begins and the couple begins to grow apart. Generally, by the time this occurs they have already also followed the normal path of earthmates by pursuing individual careers, having children, building a home and acquiring material possessions. You cannot stop the evolutionary process within yourself and if you try to hold on to what you no longer have, negativity begins to permeate throughout the relationship. The relationship begins to deteriorate and the couple can't understand what happened to the so-called soulmate they once had. It is during this stage where the biggest opportunity for learning occurs. The negativity builds into anger, resentment, jealousy and lack of trust as the unstable foundation begins to crumble and the couple no longer has any bond to keep them together. If they cannot reach an agreement to evolve consciously and open to the spiritual lessons together by fully examining what has happened, this process generally either leads to divorce or a continued life of unhappiness and complacency. Many couples stay together for the children, when in fact, this does more harm than good, as they now inflict this level of consciousness upon their children only to be repeated again and again as we see throughout society. On some level, there is a divine order for all the participants involved in this unbalanced union of two souls and many lessons that will add to the evolution of each person. On the other hand, it also contributes to the reinforcement of the prolific negativity and soap opera existences that still exists on the planet. It ultimately slows the evolution of the entire planet.

In order to know if you are ready for a soulmate relationship or just in need of another earthmate relationship, you have to create some serious alone time and meditate on your current level of evolution. Everybody wants to believe that they are more evolved and enlightened than they are, so it doesn't hurt to consult with some spiritual guides (on or off-world) in this matter. If you are on a serious spiritual path, then you will already be doing things to manifest this -- it is clear that you walk a spiritually committed path. This does not mean that you simply attend a house of worship or that you connect with Higher Guidance throughout your daily affairs, this means that you understand that you are here to fulfill a purpose or accomplish a mission on a higher level. You are living your highest dreams and aspirations and consciously working towards them on a daily basis. If you are not at this place in your incarnation, then be honest and be joyful that you understand you are an evolving soul and accept your current level for what it is. If on the other hand, you are on your path and you are committed with impeccable actions, then you can begin asking your Higher Self to start attracting your soulmate.

There is another aspect of soulmates that you have to consider when asking for this. Soulmates are not always your sexual mate, they are primarily your co-creative mate. You come together to co-create a particular outcome based on your individual spiritual paths. Depending on your gender preference, you may also attract a person who is not the sex that you desire for sexual relations. Although you should be specific in your manifestation work that you desire a soulmate that is also your sexual partner, you should be open to attract soulmates that are here to assist in the co-creative process. For example, if you are a musician and you need other members to form a group, you should be open to attract beings as close to your vibration level as possible in order to create a harmonious union. It takes more than one being to fulfill a mission and being conscious about who you attract and allow into your process can have a tremendous impact on the outcome. There may also be other beings involved in this agreement. Some join you on earth and others assist from other dimensions. You will know this to be truth based on current life experience and pastlife remembrances of joining your energy with beings that are not of similar vibrational essences. The repercussions of this connection can only delay you from attaining your highest dreams, which ultimately is your purpose and mission for being here.

To help you understand even further what it is like to have a soulmate relationship that is also a sexual relationship, you will need to move into a feeling sense to comprehend what we are about to describe. When you meet for the first time, there will be an instant attraction. This attraction will not be physical in nature, meaning that you do not begin by judging their body, face, clothes or car they are driving. It goes way beyond the surface level of 3D reality, the sensation goes into the soul level of sensation. You can only understand this if you have spent time in meditation and touched the essence of the divine, the Light. The vibration within you will begin to generate the initial feelings of anxiety, pulsations will run up and down the spinal column stimulating all of your chakras simultaneously. It is necessary that this initial contact does not result in rushing into a sexual encounter. Rather there should be some period of time where the sexual energy will begin to build between you in your meditations. In addition, to the build up of sexual energy, you will begin to have visions and sensations of your mutual spiritual work and how it comes together. You will realize, based on your past experiences with earthmate relationships, that there is something uniquely different about this potential relationship and that taking it slow is they way it needs to be done.

The foundation you are creating here is the essence that the rest of your relationship will be built upon. The intensity of this expression will guide you throughout the rest of your time together -- so take it slow -- time is irrelevant. All of these feelings must begin to be discussed with each other as your potential relationship develops. You should each have an understanding of what a soulmate relationship is. Beginning with complete honesty and truth is imperative and if you falter in this area, understand that you are allowing cracks of negativity to develop in your foundation. If you continue on this course, your relationship will absolutely crumble at some future time and again you will wonder why. It is not worth it to tell untruths to try to please this partner, once you enter into the depths of this commitment, the Light will not allow you to be untrue. Understand that this may also be an unfolding process that you will need to go through and it should be spoken aloud to one another, this intention to live in truth. It is likely that both of you will have come from previous earthmate relationships where this type of behavior was common as well as your experiences within your family, so you may need to break through old habits and belief systems in order to earn this relationship. Begin meditating together, look into each others eyes for long periods of silence and get to know one another on a deep soul level. Share your experiences in meditation and begin to unfold your work together.
