Discovering Your Purpose

Each one of you is greatly loved by All That Is -- whether you choose to awaken or remain asleep, to grow and unfold or to resist change, to live in joy or in fear. Whatever choices you make are appropriate, for you can be none other than what you choose to be. We will stimulate new ideas, new feelings, and awaken your awareness to new possibilities and new ways of looking at the world. What you choose to make of these offerings is up to you.

A significant milestone in your evolutionary process is when a feeling rises up from the depths of your being that tells you that you have a purpose for existing, a purpose beyond your current frame of reference and the choices that you have made thus far in your life. The spark of awareness within you begins to glow brighter. You begin to sense the possibility of a new way of being and experiencing the reality around you. You no longer find fulfillment in following the herd consciousness; consuming, buying more and more stuff to try to somehow fill the void, the emptiness within. Many become absorbed within the projected worlds of adventure and romance in books, television, and movies -- vicariously living through and being influenced by these forms of immersive entrainment/entertainment, instead of actually doing in the real world. This form of programming leaves you feeling that something is lacking or wrong in your life. If you learn how to become more fully aware, while enjoying all the abundance that the Universe has to offer, without becoming controlled or absorbed in the process, you will be free. It all has to do with the quality of the energy you allow into your personal space, into your environment and into your consciousness. At some point, and this is one of the hardest lessons to learn, you will have to decide if the other beings around you -- your mate, your family, and your friends -- support or impede your growth. If they are no longer supportive of your emerging path, you may have to release them, to love them from a distance and let them go. They have chosen to be where and who they are, and it may very well be appropriate for their soul growth, just not necessarily for yours. You must be honest with yourself and with them if you are to honor your higher purpose and path. If you have to leave a relationship, do it with integrity and honor. Complete any unfinished business, accept all responsibilities for your actions, then move on. You must do so in order to allow the energy to open and transform all those involved. If you have to live in a void for a short time, so be it, it is all part of the process. Be not afraid, others will appear that will support your vision and path in joyful harmony and co-creation.

Prior to this point, you may have felt that you have just been going through the motions, taking up space with no real direction or reason for your existence at all. You may have felt harried, trapped and overwhelmed with responsibilities. There never seemed to be enough time to accomplish all that you wished to do each day. It seemed that your life is no longer your own. Not only did the answers to questions like Who Am I or Why Am I Here escape you, you rarely, if ever, even considered that you should be asking yourself these questions. You were immersed in the dream, a dream that seemed so real because you believed in it wholeheartedly. You believed because you wanted to fit in, to be accepted, because it seemed less stressful to buy into the illusion than to make the effort to transcend out of it. There is another shining way, the way of freedom and flow -- a state of remembrance and awakening as you align with your Higher Self, your True Will and your unfolding path. You can have this existence if you so choose. Through these transmissions of writing and sound we give you tools for your personal growth and empowerment. Begin to sense the tangible love and intent within the energy that we give to you, a reservoir built up over many lifetimes, a wellspring that you may draw upon for your unfoldment.

There is actually a purpose in the numbing, unconscious state of being you may have often found yourself in. This state of boredom, of malaise, is the evolutionary goad to get you to wake up -- to become aware. You begin to realize that your purpose is now becoming more global and less individually focused. The clouded state of consciousness prior to your awakening, was a preparatory stage for your souls evolution. This awareness comes about as you learn that you are an integral part of the Universe and that what you do, think and say matters in the grand scheme of All That Is. It is a momentous occasion in the flow of your existence as you awaken into this new awareness and should be celebrated as such -- we say, "Welcome to the Light."

An important stage in the course of your initiation, is to take a long look at who you have been and what you have created thus far in the course of your present life. Even though you may not have been aware that you had a purpose, your Higher Self was guiding you all the time to prepare you for this time when you would look beneath the surface and ask the important questions; questions that will lead you on a glorious adventure of discovery. Observe your current environment, your home, place of employment and your social activities. What possessions, what objects have you surrounded yourself with and what value do they have on your happiness. What colors are you drawn to, what works of art and type of music do you resonate with? What type of mate did you chose to be with, if you have one. Do they challenge you to evolve or do they hold you back from empowering yourself and accomplishing your goals by subtly sabotaging your self-esteem. Examine what bores you, what excites you. There are many more questions that will come to you as you begin this process, for as you do so, you will activate and expand upon your deeper intuitive abilities. Be sure that you have spent sufficient time with the exploration preceding this article. In the coming days and weeks, if you meditate and contemplate with an open heart upon these issues, many more insights will come to you. Be open and receptive to receiving information in your dreams and in your waking state. Keep a journal and you will begin to see an overview of the patterns woven through your life.

A lengthy recapitulation (see Recapitulation Exploration) is very important at this time of your life. Allow it take precedence over other activities in your life for a period of time. Look more deeply at what you have co-created in your life. Understand and fully accept that as a result of your past thoughts and actions, you have created the reality that you currently perceive to be truth. There are clues are all around you that will reveal what your current potentials, inclinations and abilities are, so that you may use these gifts to manifest a more open, blissful future. Not only is it important to review this lifetime, but several reviews of pastlives will also be an important place of exploration. It is not important to review all of your pastlives, as you will discover, there will be common themes and patterns that will give you the information you need to know. Once all of this information is gathered and processed effectively, you can begin the process of actualizing the things and people in your life that will assist you in continuing to live on purpose. This process should not be rushed and may take several years or an entire lifetime of dedicated spiritual growth work to be fully integrated into your personality matrix. The time that this takes should not be a concern, for many other cycles of exploration will be initiated during this period, intertwining in an ever changing dance of information that will become more and more effortless as the multidimensional aspects of your being are accepted and assimilated. As you approach this in a playful manner, tangible results will accelerate. Enjoy the flow as each stage of your alignment takes place in the proper timing. Lasting results can only come about with commitment, discipline and dedication. Enjoy the journey because the end goal is forever changing and elusive.

A potential stumbling block for many at this stage is that once they discover they have a purpose, they want to quickly move on to their mission, without the proper preparation. Patience, dear ones, for the joy is in the Journey. The saying "old habits die hard" will ring true at times during this process and you may find yourself getting on and off purpose as you work your way through the information that begins to come forth. That is all part of the process, just begin again and your resolve will strengthen, and the path will become clearer.

Your purpose is more general in nature, while your mission speaks more to a specific goal or task. By uncovering your passions this lifetime, you will discover your purpose and then you can create your mission based on that knowledge. Some of you are here now to accomplish a pre-determined mission and others are still developing a plan. We will speak more of this in future writings. You will have confirmation you are on your true path when synchronicities and confirmations become manifest in your life. As you choose to follow the signs and sincerely trust and act upon this information, you will be guided to the right places, people and circumstances to actualize your dreams.

Many of you have allowed yourselves to be influenced by some distorted spiritual teachings that tell you it is wrong to focus on the needs of the self and that the way to God is to help others, literally. Sacrifice is emphasized, so that you may serve the needs of the Spirit without the supposed distractions of the material world. While there is some truth in this belief and it does help one to develop soul qualities, it is not entirely correct. There are distractions that may absorb your life force, and distract you from self-actualization and connecting with the higher aspects of your being. Some of these diversions have been intentionally placed within the mass consciousness by various groups of entities throughout the ages, both terrestrial and extraterrestrial/extradimensional to contain and control the spiritual energy of mankind, and divert that power for various purposes. Obviously, this has for the most part been without the best interests of the human race at heart. The discussion of this complex subject is beyond the scope of this article. Have no fear. The forces of inertia and darkness have not prevailed. Despite these apparent obstacles, the energy of creative evolution is accelerating, openings are occurring as the structures of control are dissolving, and all is unfolding in the Light. The course of your probable future has shifted to a more positive, more open reality matrix. The more you choose, within each moment, what excites you, what you feel passionate about, what feels good, what gives you joy, what is easy and flowing, what feels positive and loving, the more you add to the evolution of the Collective Consciousness. This is how you come to know what you term God. By raising your vibration, you raise the vibration of your fellow man.

Begin to let go of the illusion of separation. It is from this space of illusion that all of your dis-ease and dysfunction emanates. The more you live and act in Love, the more you will be transformed. You are a being of flesh and blood, beyond that you are a temple of the Living Spirit. Within the wonders of your DNA (more info on DNA) are all the answers that you seek. There is a unique multidimensional focus that you are meant to embody within the physical body. This is a state that could not be realized in the realm of Pure Spirit. When you truly get this and live this fully, All That Is will evolve to another level. This is part of the Great Work, the Great Experiment that we are all participating in. Life on this planet is a gift, not a curse or a burden.

Embrace the dichotomy and the paradoxes of existence. Try not to judge what is occurring now on the planet, for you are only seeing a small glimpse of the larger picture, the tip of a vast multi-faceted reality. There is much more occurring than any of you can possibly know in this dimension. Do what you feel you must do to affect positive change, but learn to think and act outside of the apparent limitations of the old structures. As more individuals choose to utilize and develop their gifts and talents to their fullest potential and actively support the projects being manifested without commercial, philosophical and most importantly financial limitations, the enlightened co-creative outpourings of all that participate, on whatever level they can and so choose, will change the world and make manifest a Heaven on Earth. Any acts to empower these types of visions support the evolution of humanity on the highest levels, as it pushes the evolutionary envelope. If you have the financial means to give a portion of your resources to the cause of evolution and freedom instead of supporting efforts that continue to support the fear based programs, then do it. Support the energy of creativity in whatever way you feel guided, in turn you are actually supporting yourself in the future and fulfilling your purpose in the now. This creates a new space of opportunity for others to follow, which increases the Light Quotient of the entire planet. If the ultimate purpose is to fully express the Love and joy of your innate connection to All That Is, the fountainhead of your life expression, then you will see this loving act in the fullest spectrum of what is and what can be possible. As a divine spark of the Godforce, you are here to lovingly experience everything that exists in order to return that which you have lived and loved back into the collective pool of energy.

You will discover as you set out to define your purpose that every experience you have had, every talent or skill you have developed leads you to accomplishing this purpose, whether you are conscious of it or not. Travel back into your childhood and discover what interests you followed and developed, and which abilities may have come easily, almost magically to you with very little effort. Also examine any areas that you feel were blocked by your parents or society. Ask yourself whether they stopped you or whether you sabotaged yourself in order to create an excuse for not pursuing something further for fear of failure or success. You must unravel these issues in order to discover yourself further.

From the common reference point that you are all here to ultimately help humanity evolve, what are your unique gifts that will contribute to that goal. You may, on the level of your inclination and understanding, decide to directly help other human beings by getting involved in health care, feeding the homeless or assisting the less fortunate through charitable contributions. These are all worthy purposes and missions to achieve and will further your evolution by learning to be of service and offering selfless love. A purpose can be driven by the need within you to discover who you are. It is in this quest that you will awaken dormant potentials and talents that you have already developed in other lifetimes. It is in the awakening of your inner Light that you share with others, that awakens them to do the same.

As you move closer to living your purpose all of the time, you will then begin to create a mission that serves that purpose. Following your joy or bliss, things that are joyful and blissful on a deep inner level, not just surface pursuits, will help you to find your purpose. You have to discard the trappings of the superficial world and look within to discover what it is you really feel inside. Finding your passion can take some time, as there are often layers of illusion that have been developed from many years of living in a society where only what is seen with the 5 senses is what is real, and where your "old self" believed that by conforming, by parroting others expressions, fashions, mannerisms, and beliefs you would "fit in", you would be accepted. The Truth is, what is real, is beyond such shallow pursuits and as you follow a more dedicated path of personal growth you will begin to understand what your true feelings are underneath all of that cultural, societal and family programming. There are so many wonderful healing and transformational modalities available today to the true seeker of spiritual enlightenment, ones that have roots in ancient wisdom but that have been reformulated to address modern day lifestyles and concerns. Supporting these and activively participating in groups and workshops dedicated to increasing your Light Quotient is all part of living your purpose.

Breaking through the mold of current paradigms and finding your way through the maze of outmoded core level belief systems is all part of walking the spiritual path. We understand that many of you feel frustrated at the amount of time it appears to take to get through this process. Try to accept that you have already lived many entire lifetimes in an unconscious state of awareness and you are just beginning to awaken to your higher purpose in the grand scheme of space/time. Once you have truly awakened, you will never go back to sleep again, so take pride and joy in the fact that you have gotten to this point at last. There is so much yet to be learned in order for you to be released from the cycle of death and rebirth, that being angry and frustrated at the speed at which things seem to happen will only slow down the process. Love the process, love yourself, love the world a little deeper each day and that which you seek you will become manifest.

Moving into a state of gratitude, appreciation and accepting the divine flow of the Universe will accelerate the process and allow you to experience higher states of joy and bliss. You cannot really pursue your mission with clarity while you are still in the early stages of discovering your purpose. Without a more developed sense of intuition and a connection to your higher guidance which often must be developed from the seasoning and wisdom gained from life experience over time; you may take a few misguided directions from your lower egoic self that will often lead you to situations that will contain challenges that are of an uncomfortable or unpleasant nature. These experiences can be avoided as you begin to change the way you react to the world and to your feeling self on a fundamental level. It is good to act upon your desires and dreams, but be careful about the level of commitment you make, especially to others. This will create energetic karmic ties that you may find undesirable if you find yourself unable to follow through with that stated commitment after a period of time. It is best to express yourself in ways that build your talents, skills, and self-esteem in areas that you honestly feel you need further development. In the beginning stages of your awakening, your Higher Self may intentionally guide you in positions that you may consider to be beneath you or that you are over qualified for, in order to learn a particular soul quality or to keep your ego in perspective. Some things that you may think you really want to do, may turn out to be things that your ego is trying to get you to do in order to keep you distracted from following your spiritual work. The ego is one of the most difficult aspects of your personality matrix to keep in balance. At some point in your evolution, it becomes your biggest challenge to gain mastery over the ego and to allow it to serve its higher purpose also. It will tease and taunt you by showing you illusions of wealth, power and sex gained through the manipulation of others, and try to convince you that only by taking that rocky path can you achieve what you so richly desire and deserve, convincing you that achieving this would make you happy. It can be as tempting as the metaphor of the devil portrayed in many religious teachings. As you increase your Light Quotient, it will not be so easy for this inertial essence to lure you into situations that you know will ultimately bring you pain and lower your vibration.

We have seen many of you jump quickly into situations because synchronicities have appeared in response to your desires and you decide that this must be the answer to your calling. Remember this - You Get What You Settle For - the Universe will send forth answers based on your desires, but you don't have to take each and every one. Sometimes the Universe will send you many forms of what you have asked, especially in the first waves of manifestation. This simply seems to be the way the process often works -- like Manifestion 101. Take your time and think things through. It is imperative that you spend time in mediation to feel into the energy of a situation before you make a final decision regarding choices on your life path. Especially don't rush or force the decision. If you are being pushed, it is a good indication that this is not ultimately the right decision. If something is only partially what you are asking for, then say no, thereby telling the Universe that this is not acceptable and wait for the next opportunity to arise that offers more of what you really want. Be specific. If your core belief is that you may not receive another opportunity or that you are being ungrateful, you must develop the trust that what you really want is on its way, and that the Universe is infinitely abundant. You create the reality you experience by accepting situations that are not completely what you want, so choose the very best you can accept and It Will Be, for that is how the Universe works. It is OK to dabble and explore your options too. It is important to take one step at a time, sometimes baby steps, as you are building a solid foundation -- one that will withstand the truest test of time. If you take a bigger step than your vibrational matrix is able to sustain, you will add additional stress to the physical vehicle which automatically shifts you back into fear and survival mode and slows down your progress. Which again, is also OK, as you have to learn and this is the process.

After many years, you will know that you are ready to be responsible and committed to a specific mission. You will be enlightened enough to know that you know a lot and yet you really know nothing. You will be joyfully willing to live in the mystery, with faith and a knowingness that all will be taken care of. A mission serves a higher purpose and therefore the ultimate goals can change and shift to new levels of understanding and commitment. For some, just living their lives in alignment with their higher purpose is enough to accomplish their mission in their current incarnation. Their soul essence touches others in such a way that a spark of divinity is passed on to others from their presence alone. This can be realized if you examine the lives of many legends, whose names are familiar to many across the planet. For some, their mission is involved with organizing a group of people to collectively work on a specific project or to build a corporation that serves a higher planetary purpose. Not all missions must be an obvious spiritual representation of something and they do not all need to be non-profit to reflect the selfless giving nature of an evolved being of Light.

You may also ask, What is the purpose of having a purpose? Prior to this awareness, life is a series of interconnecting events -- a soap opera drama that plays out in the same cycles of dysfunction, day in and day out. These events seem to be random and chaotic even on what would be considered good days. In this reality, you experience the world around you as a victim of forces beyond your control. You will often feel helpless, hopeless and totally disconnected from what is called society. By accepting a new belief system that says you are here for a reason and a greater purpose and that what you do and say are important, you open yourself to a whole new reality of existence. Defining your purpose to yourself, gives you a whole new way to approach the life that you live and you begin to see how the so-called random events you seem to experience have an underlying connection to how you react to, believe in, and choose to experience the world and reality around you. Order begins to emerge out of chaos. This realization and belief system infuses a new level of joy into your life. You realize that you are no longer a victim, but that you are the one controlling the puppet strings. Along with this comes the acceptance of full responsibility for what you have created in your life and knowing this teaches you that you can now create your future with full awareness. So you start with a fresh canvas and begin the process of creating a magnificent piece of art - YOU.

Once you have brought together all of the information regarding your life into a more expansive paradigm and completed a deeper phase of exploration into who you are and who you have been, the pieces of the puzzle begin to merge together into an empowered statement of intent that you will live your life by. A life of empowerment, intent and focused commitment. As an example: I am here to help mankind learn to evolve - keep it simple. Each decision you make from that point on is processed through this statement. How does this choice serve my purpose to help mankind evolve? If it doesn't, then you need to move on to let it go and move to the next choice. If a more positive and expansive possibility is not currently presenting itself, you will have the faith and inner assurance that it soon will. You will fully embody your destiny, your higher purpose as you walk the path of Light and abundance, and add your essence, life wisdom and Higher Love to the upward spiral of evolutionary unfoldment.
