Exploration #1 - Are you Evolving?

here are many stages or initiations that a human being passes through in order to evolve their consciousness from a 20th Century Human to becoming an actualized, enlightened being of Light in the 21st Century. An evolved human being will seek to understand himself, his fellow man, his environment and how it all relates to the greater cosmic purpose and plan of the Universe. This process is never ending and the joy is in the process and not in some final destination. The individual's process adds more Light to the collective whole, thereby exponentionally increasing the available Light for the entire Planet, the solar system, the galaxy and finally the Universe. If you have ever truly experienced the vastness of the Universe, experienced from an expanded or altered state of consciousness, then you know in your heart that we have only just begun to comprehend its magnitude. The process of seeking this connection is what causes you to evolve. You embark on this path in your own unique and creative way, which is as it should be; for there is no singular, definitive way that it should be done. Each of you will form your own unique perspective on your experience here and you add that to the collective whole -- an immense living library of information and experience. It is through your conflicts and disagreements on what reality is, that you really begin to touch upon Universal Truths. Once a truth is discovered, it quickly begins to fade as you seek to understand it further. Learning to live in and with the mystery is part of the survival tools for those who seek to evolve.

In order for a being to consciously evolve, they must challenge the old ways of perceiving reality. This has been true at every stage of history on your planet. At one time, throughout your civilized cultures, it was considered evolved to build a home, raise a family, work 40-60 hours per week, barbeque on the weekends, get a TV and have grandchildren, play golf, then die -- the American way of achieving success and creating a happy, fulfilling life. You've now been there-done that and it is time for those souls who are ready to move on to another more challenging goal. Many are now finding that they are no longer fulfilled as they drag and push themselves through their meaningless lives in a state of unconscious sleep wondering what happened and why they cannot maintain a state of happiness. The evolutionary impulse is steadily guiding them forward to seek a new level of truth within. They look in all the old familiar places and there is no fulfilment left in shallow materialism. They have become bored with the next latest, greatest object of desire. They seek out spiritual comfort in the old forms and the dogmas no longer satisfy their thirst for knowledge. The mainstream churches are having to expand the information that they are feeding the masses in order to keep them at a controllable level of comfort, but it isn't working anymore. There is a rapidly growing segment of the population across the planet that has already awakened to a new form of spiritual information -- the Light Within.

The Light is open-ended, non-discriminatory, non-judgmental -- it is an evolutionary current of spiritual wisdom and knowledge. Once an individual begins to open and receive this Light, they are changed forever and can no longer remain in a sleeping, unconscious state of existence. The awakening is slow at first, but steadily moves forward -- energy always seeks a higher place. It is up to the individual to guide their own path and chart their course, seeking guidance from within. This new Light does not negate the previous teachings of the many churches, it enhances it and brings a new level of understanding to the aspiring student. Every form of religion is beginning to embrace these teachings in their own ways in order to provide the spiritual sustenance needed for their people.

In order to better understand the word "Light" -- it is synonomous or analogous to the Universe, God, Love, Heaven, Christ, Krishna, Buddah, Allah, Spirit, Truth, joy, happiness -- a positive, upward current. These are all varying degrees and reflections of Light. Light is the opposite of Dark. Dark is synonomous to the devil, satan, evil, hell, demons, hate, anger, fear, jealousy, envy -- a negative, downward current. As you move towards the Light in all that you do, you begin to build your Light Body. You could say that the more Light you hold/sustain, the more evolved you are becoming. Light can be measured in frequencies or vibrations, as can dark. The Darker you are, the denser your vibrational essence will be. The Lighter you are the higher your vibrational essence will be.

All of you begin as unconscious souls incarnating again and again, learning to become fully realized beings of Light. During this period of time, you experience the dark side of existence in order to later comprehend and embrace the Light. You exist in a fear-based reality where mistrust, hatred, judgment, jealousy, envy and anger are your daily experiences. In some of your lifetimes, you have lied, cheated, raped and murdered your fellow man. More importantly, through the laws of karma, you have also experienced these injustices upon you. It is these experiences of duality that help you seek out the Light. Some of these lessons take an entire lifetime for you to understand, so that when you reincarnate, you will evolve your thoughts and actions based on a unknown feeling that drives you on a mission to rid the world of this evil or injustice. To provide an example, imagine that in one lifetime, you were a man who raped many women. In the next lifetime, you were a woman who was severely raped and you spent the rest of that lifetime helping other women through their rape experience as a counselor. Even the experience of a rape can evolve a person and increase their Light if they can understand the absolution of karma.

When you have experienced enough of the Dark, you eventually move towards the Light to seek peace, truth and inner wisdom. It is the Universe Law of Light. Before a being is allowed to move into the higher realms of spiritual awareness, they must be able to maintain a certain vibration of Light. This isn't a test that you can lie or cheat on in order to pass -- you cannot fool the spiritual hierarchy with cunningness or deceit. Certain initiations must be passed in order to evolve into the higher realms of Light. Many of these initiations are done while you are in sleep state, however, as you evolve you will begin to experience them consciously in your astral world dream state as well as in your meditations. As a being evolves, they raise their vibration which enables them to take on more Light. The ability to manifest desires is increased as you learn to act within the Universal Law of Light. Your intuition begins to get stronger and more accurate, as well as the development of many psychic abilities. Depending on your initial inclinations you will develop abilities to see clairvoyantly, to hear clairaudiently and to know clairsentiently. All of these talents are just a natural occurrence as one increases their vibrational rate. There will also be a desire to develop these skills through focused intent. An innate awareness of the universal laws of attraction and manifestation begins to emerge as the student learns to understand the power of the Light. There are many more amazing gifts that will be awakened including healing abilities for the self and others, telepathic communications both on-world and off-world, astral travel, out of body experiences, physical levitation, transfiguration, teleportation, ascension and beyond.

You will only evolve at the speed at which you are ready for and capable of handling. Your Higher Self has been guiding you all along and knows just the right amount of Light you can hold. There is nothing to fear as there are many ahead of you who will always be available to assist you in moving to the next level -- all you have to do is ask and be open to receive. A seeker of Light never walks alone.
